This is why I have removed myself from all this partisan crap! Neither party is what it makes itself out to be! The Democrats are openly for what I don't agree with, The Republicans pretend they are the party of family and moral values, but their track record proves differently. I have become an Independent because I am disillusioned with both parties.
I just hope it is not too late to get someone in the White House who will fix the horrible mess our country has gotten into. I hope the American public will open their eyes and finally see the light! If not, it will be too late for us!

You see, that is the problem. People should not look at politicians for their morals - you get those from your church, your family and your friends. Politics and religion are two separate things - they do not belong together, they will not sustain each other. Politicians use religion as a tool, another way to convince and control people. Religion does the same thing. So to have a successful politician state he is a 'Christian' ( or insert another religion here ), is an oxymoron. To be a successful politician, you have to things that god fearing people don't do - like starting a war ( which means people will die ), not support stem cell research ( which means people will die ), make decisions that are against educating people ( keeping them ignorant ) . . . and on and on. Show me a successful politician and I will show you a person who has done things Christians wouldn't have done.

Republicans have never been honest regarding "moral" issues. they only coddle to the right wing bible-thumpers who throw votes their way. If jerry Falwell said it was OK to homosexually molest underage pages, every Republican in Washington would have a young boy chained up in the basement.

You think politicans (GOP or democrats) have morality? Wake up and smell the coffee my friend because there ain't no morality in politics. Try your local church if you want morality.

Oh, please! Neither party has a corner on morality. That's why the whole Foley mess has exploded all over the Republicans: they touted themselves as "holier than thou", such good "family-friendly" folk. If you believed their lie, well, now hopefully you know better. Good morals, solid ethics are characteristics of individuals, not political parties.

I think we can agree that the progressives infer superiority via their words but our actions are opposit of morality.

Remember the Democrat Campaign Slogan:
"CHARACTER DOESN'T MATTER".
Democrats celebrate that they never cared about morality, ethics, or honesty.
And, They make fun of anyone who does care.
