Absolutely gutted. I rushed home after a gruelling 36 hour shift at work (plus 1 hour drive each way) and watched the race on video. I did not sleep a wink last night...how could I after such a tragedy?! And there was no alcohol in the house to drown my sorrow!!
I have been buying the official F1 season review dvds/vhs for some years now, but haven't bought 2005 (too painful). The only way I would buy 2005 and get over it and put it behind me was if Schumi won 2006. Now I don't think I could ever watch F1 again....it's too painful!!
Am I the only one here who can't watch F1 any more because of what happened to Schumi yesterday?

I was shocked in a good way when I heard that, after the retirement from the Japanese GP, MS is conceding the title to Fernando, saying that the WDC is over for him.

He's trying to redeem his image in the 13th hour. Too late.

Alonso will probably be as succesful as MS, but I don't think that there is going to be that much controversy surrounding him.

Shocked!! dude what are you talking about, I was overjoyed when Alonso took the race lead. Yes I too feel sorry for Schumi, he did not deserve it.

Shocked? No, I've seen loads of engines blow in F1, it happens all the time! Schumacher has been long overdue a mechanical retirement.

Oh, and I believe it's called Karma.......

Yes, I didn't expect his engine to blow. The real question now is, can Alonso turn Mclaren into a winner?

how can HE be your hero???
he's cheating all the time and winning races NOT fairly
Alonso was right when he said:
This is not sport anymore
when he was punished unfairly
you should watch better
schumi is the best...

but in the cheating
ALONSO WILL WIN
AND I'M SO HAPPY

Not shocked...more ELATED that the luck is equalising!!!

I hope that Alonso wins ANOTHER CHAMPIONSHIP F_A_I_R_L_Y

He won his very first championship by cheating...Hopefully justice will prevail and he'll lose his last to a SPORTSMAN!!

There is an ancient saying: "that's racing".
