If things are still constantly evolving, why are monkeys not evolving into humans? And if there was one found, would they kill it or put it in a lab somewhere?

All things are constantly evolving--we're not able to appreciate this process in most things as the time scale is too long compared to our lifespan. However, there are some things that will allow you to witness evolution as it's happening. Take bacteria for instance--they are constantly evolving to better survive in their environment. As we bombard them with antibiotics, they change in subtle ways to escape harm. They are then called antibiotic resistant bacteria. Viruses also evolve on a much shorter timescale--one great example is HIV. One of the reasons that there is no "cure" for HIV is that the virus evolves at such a fast rate making it extremely difficult/imposible to find drug targets.

that guy uptop made me lagh.

no man evolution takes time and the only reason we evolved from Primates is because the first envoriment they had was destroyed and they didnt have any more trees... thsi happend during a peroiod of millions of years and the primate slowly began walking straight, Using its thumb,, ect...

i think thats enough just to give u and idea.

(we evolved From primates NOT monkeys)

if Primates (Which include monkeys) were to evolve again, there naturaly envirment is to be destroyed and they to adapt to the new envirement but this will happen in a peroid of millions of years. human race has only been intelligent for about 6000 years which is FAR from being enough to notice the beauty of Evolution.

i hope this helps u understand...

monkeys did not evolve into humans; humans and other primates share a common ancestor, we are actually cousins. Evolution takes place over millions of years, you are not going to "see" it happen around you. And evolution does not take a specific path, so no species is bound to develop into a specific new species.

I guess that most of the "in-betweens" died off due to not being properly adapted the the environment. The real question is, "Are humans" as we know it going to last, or further evolve leave no remnants as we are today.

there are half man half creatures still around we just call them boss or actually we call them jackasses, but they are out there some of them dont even speak they communicate through grunting sounds .and still beleive in doing things as it was done in the stone age ,failure to not do it there way calls for banishment out of the camp.and you dont get to eat when the others capture food so to your question these creatures do exist you just need to find the right job with the wrong boss attached to it.
