no the insurgents for the most part are iranian and sirian..they want it to look that way..so the american people fall for the escalating violence theory..doesn't it seem a little odd that in the last month the violence has escalated?they know we are about to hold elections here and that the people in america are growing intolerant to the war..by escalating the violence they convince americans we are loosing and in effect change our political agenda here and sadly they are changing our political climate and america is to stupid to see it! the democrats are loving this and have no plan in place or care to because this helps there base..i wonder who is putting americans in jeopardy now to benifit the elections?

Yes! This war has turned into a Sunni vs Shiia campaign, and with a much broader base than most people realize. Not only that, the US may be in a bigger quagmire than it realizes, since it too, is working against the Sunni.
The shiia are sponsored by Iran, no more and no less than Hezbollah. Yet, the US is playing to the heart strings of the Iraqi government, which is shiia controlled.
Many Arab countries are suddenly very concerned about Iran and the power base it has developed, so much so, that some Arabs have actually met with Israel to discuss matters. What matters I can't say, but the very idea of Arabs and Jews talking, leaves a lot of room for questions! Sounds a little screwy, I know, but is the US on the wrong side, once again?

Yes and no. The insurgents who are Iraqi Sunni attack both US troops and Iraqi Shia including their militias, civilians, police, and the Iraqi national army which is basically Shia.
Since the US military gives total support to the Iraqi national Govt. and the Iraqi national army/police which are totally controled by the Iraqi Shia, the US military is actually fighting on the side of the Iraqi Shia in this low level Civil War against the Iraqi Sunnis who are also the insurgents.
Al Qaeda is kind of a free agent in Iraq and although they are Sunni they don't always fight with the Iraqi Sunni insurgents. But they always fight the US military and the Iraqi Shia who they consider to be heretics and hate them as much if not more than US troops.

No, the insurgents want to overthrow the existing government. The Sunni and Sheites have a religious war going and always will, regardless of the government.

Yes it's a bid to grab territory from each other Shiites from Sunnis areas and Sunnis from Shiite areas.
The Shiite are the largest group in Iraq, and know they can no longer control the Kurds so an all important agenda is to grab and hold as much land as possible.
The over all Muslim agenda is to retain control over females, and continue male dorminance and enslavement of females as they have for centuries.
