Sign up at yahoo under a new screen name. You are allowed to have 2 accounts. If you'd rather, you can sign up up at Gmail, hotmail, or outlook express. Look up "e-mail hosts" on google; they may have even more addresses.

When you bring up Yahoo, on the page where you are asked for your ID and password, there should be a link for setting up an account.

because if you just want a new e-mail address you have to register it. depending on what it is, it may or may not be available.
