Good Friday is a holy day celebrated by most Christians on the Friday before Easter or Pascha. It commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus at Calvary. In Palestine, Jesus' birthplace, it is known as "Big Friday." In the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Serbia, Greece, Bulgaria (and Eastern Orthodox Church in general) the day is called Great Friday.

In Latin America and Portugal the day is called the "Holy Friday" and in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland the day is called "The Long Friday"

Party! eat meat, drink...or it's just like any other day for me..cause i don;t celebrate good friday..why should I? it happened in the past and there is no evidence either..

In my belief, we do not celebrate or observe Good Friday as the arrest was tuesday evening/night and the "trial" and crucifixion took place Wenesday morning. (making it Wednesday by the Jewish calender of sunset to sunset)

in my country,we go to the church and there is a table with lots of flowers on it brought by christians and we pass under the table 3 times.Also, eggs are painted in red

well in our church we have a walk of witness, where we walk solonmly through the town and then have a good friday service and then leave the church in silence and darkness
