I think the Yankees (including this off season) should stop getting allstar players and finding new talent. To start off next year they should start Melky Cabrera as one of their outfielders.

If they start Melky, who's gonna sit? Damon, Matsui or Abreu?

The everyday guys are great (except A-Rod). They need to see how good some of these young arms they have are.

I totally agree. A team of all-stars does not make a winning team. Plus all the all-stars on the Yankees roster are getting older and can't perform the way they could when they were younger. Next year needs to be a new year for the Yankees and the starting players should be the old mixed with the new. We saw Melky and Cano carry the Yankees this year with all the injuries and they should've kept the momentum going.

Yes, they need younger talent and they need to worry about having a good all around team not an All-Star team.
The Yankees and Red Sox are destroying themselves by going after high priced players and competing with each other over them. Randy Johnson/A-Rod are the best examples of them fighting over the same player.

Ya.I also agree that the Yankees should get younger talent because,

1.I'm tired of them winning the World Series.

2.They have all these All-Star players and no young talent.

3.They should start playing baseball like it;'s supposed to be played

I think they need to stop throwing the money at the problem. They have so many stars that I think they won't have any coesion (yes I probably spelt that wrong). You have 5 high named outfielders looking for 3 spots. I think maybe some youth or some role players (not superstars) would help them. The problem is with the contracts they through at them. Nobody can afford to take them from the YAnks. And for god sakes do not fire Torre. Go JAys Go

The Yankess need to get rid of A-Rod aka Mr Chokes. He has been on 3 teams now and none have won anything, (The Yanks have won the division inspite of him.)
They did get younger this year, with Damon and some of those pitchers they have. Matsui ain't exactly over the hill either.

Tha said as a life long Red Sox fan I still say YANKEES SUCK!!!!

So keep A-Rod and keep losing.

Next year, they will buy half of the Tigers' players. Just like they do every year. Whoever beats them, they buy that teams best player.
Yes they need some young talent. Money isn't buying them any championships and I love it.
