I'm in a 12 team fantasy league and took a flyer on Kellen Winslow II that has clearly worked out so far this year. The problem is that my second tight end is Antonio Gates who should be considered a must start at tight end.

I know I need to trade one of them and fast (not going to happen this week) and I've already been offered Thomas Jones for Winslow.

But the question is - who do you start today: Winslow vs. Carolina or Gates vs. Pittsburgh. Keep in mind that Winslow has been listed as questionable the last 2 weeks with a knee injury but has played and done well the last few weeks.

I'm leaning towards Winslow but am not sure.

Thanks.

Trade Winslow for Jones

Gates, he's so much more reliable than Winslow and he is playing for the Ravens so he's got McNair as a QB instead of Charlie Frye so go with Gates.

Pass defenses are about equal
Carolina 211yds/game
Pittsburgh 217yds/game

The key to this is the run defense
Carolina 130yds/game
Pittsburgh 78yds/game (4th in league)

I would start Gates, S.D. will be forced to pass the ball and he is the #1 target. Carolina should control the clock and pound the ball all day long on the ground. I also like that S.D. is at home, Cleveland is not.

Good Luck!!!

who is playing for the ravens, not winslow, anyways that is a tough question, since winslow has been producing, so I would lean also towards winslow since rivers hasn't gotten into the groove yet and since they are playing Pittsburgh.

i admire the Ben Watson instruct. With branch out, look who Brady has to throw to: Troy Brown (sixty 8 years old), Reche Caldwell (fragile no one from San Diego), and Doug Gabriel (Raider castoff/no one). Watson would desire to blow up. LJ Smizzle isn't a nasty play the two. Houston's protection continues to be dreadful. there is u.s. no way of understanding which receivers are going to get the action. With Wetbrook back, and Stallworth in the blend, i think of for this week Watson is your guy. solid luck...
