Not an accusation or slight at anyone, but I see people with thousands of points and hundreds of answered questions. If there are folks out there addicted to the Internet, how is a forum like this helping the problem?

But are we really interacting with people or helping them? Or are we justifying a sedentary lifestyle that is dependent on input from TV, video games, Internet, etc? Rates of heart disease and diabetes have exploded in the last decade. Could it be that we are sitting ourselves to death?

Boredom, my wife's still asleep. This is something to do. I can eat breakfast and answer questions, laugh at jokes, feel sorry for people with problems, offer help or humor when I can. And yes, I am friggin addicted. But I can stop any time, if I wanted to. I really could.

Who says addiction is a problem? I enjoy this much better than
playing any video game or anything else. I'm interacting w/ my
fellow man. I'm learning, & socializing at the same time.

I have several points. I'm not addicted. I work from home. If I'm not busy, I come here. Hopefully, I'm helping people.

I get to help people by answering their questions as frankly as I can.

Also, its really nice to know what and how people are thinking.

Its fun
