I'm talkin' NHL here. What team in your eyes has the most chance of taking the cup so far. I know it's early in the season but who? What team do you think has a whole new package that will lead them to the top??? In my eyes it's the leafs!!! But what about you? GO LEAFS GO!

Only ONE person here has mentioned the hawks. This team is legit this year people. Bulin needs a good d front otherwise he will revert back to old form. Plus they picked up some very nice offensive players for a change. They won't win the cup but I think they should be the most improved team.
Pittsburg is still 2-3 years off. Leafs needs someone better than Raycroft in goal, But right now I would say Anaheim-New Jersey in the finals.

The Ducks are the team to beat! They have the two best defensemen in the league - Scott Neidermeyer and Chris Pronger - and a pair of awesome goalies - Giguere and Bryzgalov. In addition, they have serious speed and a great balance of youth and veteran talent. Provided they all stay healthy, I think they will be awesome this season. It's a good year to be a Ducks fan. :)

Come on people, the Wings are always the favorites. So they lost Yzerman and Shanahan, Stevie didn't do much for us last year and we still have our second leading scorer in Zetterberg. Goaltending might be a problem but as soon as Hasek gets hurt again we'll put Osgood in and have McDonald as a back up.

What is it about the leafs?? they are 1-2 Does every Toronto fan think that they are cup contenders EVERY year?? They shouldve traded Sundin 4 years ago and began to rebuild then.

the leafs are you nuts not with JFJ there the season is to young but I like canadian teams so look for Montreal and Edmonton to be a surprise Carolina will not repeat

The Coyotes are improved, but I like Anaheim or Calgary out of the West and the Rangers ou of the east.
