What is it made of?..Can you put something silky on before putting on your costume?..A sort of barrier between your skin and the costume I mean. Maybe you have a sensitivtiy to whatever the costume is made of?..Or try to put cornstrach or baby powder on before the costumne to help with itching.

Wear long underwear underneath it. Costumes are usually made of cheap polyester or poly-cotton blends, and they can cause itching if worn next to the skin.
