When I was a kid I knew a lot of guys 'way older than me that I hung around with. This helped me mature at a healthy rate. I learned a lot of cool stuff. And no, none of them ever tried anything. That's why I don't know where all the pervs came from all the sudden. From outer space? You really have to be around older people that are not your relatives to learn and grow normally. But it's really not safe now days. And certainly not on line. I just remembered this old "desert rat" that I knew in Prescott, Arizona, when I was 14. He had an old jeep and we drove out in the hills and we dug for gold. Found some, too. He didn't drink water, just lots of Coca-Cola. And he knew a lot of stories. We were great pals. He was a skinny old dude, maybe 70 or so. I think he was half-crazy but what a good friend he was, And it would have been unthinkable for him to have abused me. We just didn't think like that 45 years ago. But times have changed for sure.

Yes deleting his messages was the right thing to do. He knows how old you are so he must be a perve to want to talk to a 13 yr old girl You are smart for knowing what you should do in that case. Good for you.

I'm around that guy's age and you did the right thing. A teenage girl on this site wanted to be my friend, but I wouldn't even consider it because I knew it would be the wrong thing to do.
This guy obviously had inappropriate intentions towards you.

I'm a 50 year old guy well...49 and I know you did the right thing. Guys our age have plenty of people to talk to right here without having to befreind a 14y/o. He wants only one thing from you. Stay with guys your own age. Course they only want one thing from you. Maybe you better stick with the girls.

It would have been safer for you to not have even been on this site because it is generally meant for adults. I am really glad that you have sense enough to know a predator when one comes after you. I think it was the right thing but if you are loking for these friends om the internet be careful. any one can say they are a 13 - 14 year old person and they could even supply pics. so be damn careful and never ever ever give out your personal info on the net. not even your school name, mascot of the school or state they can find you just from that info. please please please be care ful!!!
