Document is a long letter and I don't want to retype it. I want to email it. MS XP

Sorry, I should be more explicit. Letter is composed with MS Works. Do I open up email first?

You could send it as an attachment but I think it may be simpler for you to use cut and paste.

To do this...
- open your letter in the appropriate program
- go in the Edit menu and choose SELECT ALL
- go back in the Edit menu and choose COPY
- open your email program
- create a new message and click in the message area
- go in the Edit menu of this new message window and choose PASTE

save the document as sent it as an attachment.


Remember Word and Works are two different programs. just to let you know.
