Shipping and Handle cost will vary depending on what accessory you purchase, your location, and your priority of shipment.
So there really isn't a price point on there..
FYI, you could get the part to come from Round Rocks, Tx or Nashville, Tn)... So it depends on where the part is..
General, frieght is goign to vary from $3.50 - $50 with the type of delivery (overnight, 2nd day, ground) I think CD-Burner is about $10-15

S&H cost is usually based upon the weight of the item, and whether you choose any special rush on the shipment.
So things like USB cables will cost a lot less to ship than a UPS/Battery backup.
Since whole computers usually cost around $30-40 for shipping, something like a CD burner should be around $10, but I'm just guessing.

unless your comp has a specific design, why buy from dell. you can buy new dvd burners for under 45$ from companies like newegg.com [shipping included]
