My husband and I have a song but some of my friends think we are silly. I think it's nice to listen to a song and think of your partner. If you have one what is it?

My husband, when he hears this one song, will say "Hey babe, that's our song", and I'm like..."It is?" I don't know what makes him think it's our song, because there is nothing remotely romantic about the words, but it has a nice rythem. I just think that if he was going to pick something as "our song" that he could of done a much better job. :-) My sister and her husband have a song, but they are so romantic with each other it's kind of hard to be around them for a long period of time! lol

I think that its lovely to have a song! its just another way that you can feel a connection with somebody, and if hearing a song makes you think of them and smile then who is anyone to say that you're silly? More fool them i say.

I'm not in a relationship at the moment, but my ex and i had a 'song', and it was bat out of hell by meat loaf (i know, long story lol) It was great whenever it came on cos we'd just look at each other and feel very connected

this was a joke with me and my fianae, we used to say closer by nine inch nails when people asked us. Yet we do have a song but we never said this is our song. We saw eric clapton live twice and both times we danced to wonderful tonight. ten rows from the stage he sang that song and we danced. our other song is the weight by the band. the dead played it live and we were front row belly to the stage it was awesome! We are going to name our daughter Annalee after that memory if we ever have a girl.

7 Years of marriage and we still have our song. Not the most romantic song (lyrics) but it means something to us. It is 'Landslide' by Fleetwood Mac. (live version) On our first date we danced in the middle of a and empty movie theater because I said it was my favorite song.

You are not silly. Maybe they are jealous? :-)

LOL! The love of my life, who is now deceased, loved Freddy Fender's song 'I'll Be There Before the Next Teardrop Falls'. It still brings me to tears every time I hear it. :)
