Of course, he would have to waive his no trade clause, but who could the Yanks possibly get for A-Rod? All wacky ideas accepted, as long as they make some sort of sense. A-Rod for Julio Franco? Uh, I don't think so.

If he does get dealt, any cash is going FROM the Yanks TO the other team, not the other way around. Very few team are going to pay A-Rod $17 million a year.

I'm officially a believer in the "Curse of Alex Rodriguez." Not only does he psyche himself out in every pressure-packed situation, he's practically an idiot! "I hope I don't get traded," coming from the holder of a contract with a no-trade clause!

On the serious side, the last three seasons could probably not have gone worse for the reigning 2005 AL MVP. With all due respect to one of the most talented baseball players of his generation, he has every right to be frustrated... as does the rest of the team... as does the owner... as does the fanbase.

I don't think that anyone in "Yankee Land" feels any worse than A-Rod because the media makes him baseball's public enemy #1. Even if he waived his no trade clause (which he has shown absolutely NO intention to do) no team would pick up his contract, and I strongly doubt that the Yankees would offer to pay the majority of a 11-time all-star's contract after he's been traded.

I dont have self belief that this could be a honest commerce reason arod is the superb participant interior the MLB genuine now. That being stated ortiz and guerrero are going to get a ton of RBI's and blended will hit extra homeruns than arod. Matt Morris is extremely a non element. although he performs for my popular team the giants he isn't a great pitcher and on the nights that he does pitch properly the giants dont supply him adequate run help to win many video games. So my suggestion is to take the commerce reason it is going to help you extra suitable than it is going to harm you.

A-rod will go to a team which never makes the playoffs. That is the type of team he belongs in as he isn't any help to contending teams.

Fcukup-Rod would have to go to a team with a small market. He can't handle the big lights any more. Tampa or K.C would be great fits for him.

To the Cubs for Aramiz Ramirez (younger and great power) Kerry Wood ( he sucks) and Money. A-Rod doesnt suck, look at his stats they are still great but he needs to get out of NY

Maybe to Philly with cash for Pat Burrell. Then, trade Pat Burrell with cash for some other stiff. Then trade that stiff with cash for a descent prospect.

No way-trade A-Rod.
Ted Williams did badly in World Series.
Other fine players have done badly in short series,
such as playoffs.

The only way they will trade arod is in a salary dump they would have to pay his contract or a portion of it. I think texas is still paying his too.
