You can get there in 40 minutes if you go close to the speed limit. My brother made it in about 20 minutes once, coming home from UConn.
It's a very nice area of the state, very rural. Back 10 years ago there weren't a lot of people with lots of money in Eastern Connecticut, but I hear that's changing now - people with money are moving out there and building huge houses on what was once farmland.

about 45-60 min....depending on the time of day....it is a college town from what I know...that is where UCONN is.
