Here's the REAL DEAL. the most popular cellphone ever hit the Philippine Market is the Nokia 3310/3315. Nokia Rules. If you want to know the feature, just search Nokia cellular phones and usually, they dont cost that much.

Nokia N-series are the most popular today especially those with relatives working abroad & yuppies because of its 3G feature the average cost is around $400. However, for younger Filipinos Sony Ericson is also quite popular because of its walkman feature, Filipino loves music the average cost is $250.

5 years ago, Nokia dominated. but now nokia produces too much phone to choose, almost every month theres a new one. which declines there quality. id say sony ericson dominates now.
but for the most popular, i would agree 3310. 2nd hand cost around 1000 pesos or around $20.
