The Yanks have lost 3 consecutive playoff series for the first time in history. Sorry Joe. We had some good times, but c'mon.

I know someone will chime in and say "Well, he hasn't had the pitching". BS, they lost because of lack of motivation. He may not have had the best pitching, but it was good enough with that batting.

Yeah, and so does the owner and everybody who follows baseball consistently. That is why Torre will be gone.

Torre is a fraud. People like "Matt" and "ynke#7the mick" need to get their heads out of their rectums and realize a few things. Making the playoffs/World Series when you have a payroll that is 5X the league average is not a great accomplishment. Bobby Cox won his division for over a decade straight WITHOUT the unlimited budget that Torre has been staked with. Here's the only thing you need to know: Prior to coming to the Yankees, Torre's managerial record was UNDER .500! Now THAT'S a fraud.

Torre had 6 yrs to fix this team up. Hes made more mistakes than improvements. Anyone who has a clue about baseball could have brought the yankess to the playoffs this year. He did nothing to keep them there! Why dont the yankees have one good young pitcher in the last 6 yrs?( Except for Wang who was brought up from the minors) Torre needs to resign or be fired. Its time for new management!

You make it sound as if Torre was the one playing.

This is the same manager that got the Yankees into the playoffs for 11 consecutive seasons. The manager that won four World Championships in his first five seasons with New York.

We wouldn't be having this conversation if the team didn't SUCK this weekend.

Steinbrenner tells Torre what to do-Torre made $7 million this year-I'd listen to my boss. Steinbrenner will spend many million more, hire Pinella for sure. ARod had 35 HR, 122 RBI's this year-geez! Maybe they need to ship ARod to the Dodger's or A's.

I'm a long time suffering Tiger's fan.

Total reversal of his previous fortunes, thats for sure. I believe there was a time when he won something like 10 or more post season games in a row during the earlier part of his run.
