why do people online talk so much rubbish? do people have an alter ego as soon as they boot up their p.c's?
they become a carachter as opposed to being themselves and honest about themselves??

i know what you mean. just because im a stuntman and i also drive racing cars and a ninja doesnt mean that when i switch my computer on i suddenly become a pop star to impress people. sad

I become very honest online! Too honest probably. I think it's because I'm not face to face with someone, I wouldn't tell them half the things I tell on Yahoo answers!

The same person as what? I think you are very judgemental . without actually knowing people you are unable to say whether they are themselves or not. I would say,speaking for myself, I answer every question as honestly as I can. If I can't be honest (maybe a medical question) I do not answer.

im the same on line as of line if i want to say something and it pisses some1 off i dont care im straight talking say it as it is i dont pretend im a size 8 nurse or super model coz i dont give a toss what anybody thinks of me but got to say there is a lot of pilots on the internet is that the best thing a man can come up with lol

I am the same person.Some ppl say some stuff because they do have an alter ego.The know they cant say some of the **** in real life so they go online and do it.

Yes, If I tried to be someone else I would find it difficult remembering, exactly `who` I was at any one time,and would find it difficult to keep up the pretence. Although I have no problem with my `academic` memory, with the everyday me I tend to be a bit forgetful Anyway, I like to talk to you as me.
