my frends a a tomboy and going through puberty. it's embarassing and weird coz she gets teazed by these gals in our class and by her olda brothas and sistas. she's worried and i don't know wat 2 do coz its lyk she's havin a mental breakdown

She needs councelling either from school or from her chuch (if she goes.)
The best thing you can do is to be her freind and keep her trust.
It sounds like Jr. High age? If it is that is the worst time any one has in life. Everyone is trying to find their identity as a person and anyone that is the least bit different gets the crap.
Her family is another story, she should be talking to her parents about the teasing there. It may not do much but at least she will have an excuse when she breaks their arms for it in a few years.
Also talk to YOUR parrents for some advise, they know you best and might be able to offer some good advise. (Some parents DO understand and listen.)

there's nothing wrong with being a "Tom Boy". Many girls go through this at a young age. Maybe she hasnt found herself yet. Maybe she just doesnt like dresses, makeup, skirts, and all the "girly things" that go along with being a girl. This doesnt necessarily mean that she is gay at all. She is just more comfortable in jeans, tee shirts and sneakers. Maybe you can invite her and a few of your other girl friends over for a "Girls" night sleep over. Play dress up, do eachother's hair, nails, and make up. Maybe she just doesnt know how to do all of these things. Try and help her to see if she can get more comfortable with herself as being just a little bit for feminine. Let her do it slowly and maybe she'll see that being girly isnt all that bad after all. It sounds to me that she has a very low self esteem. Being a good friend right now is all you can do. Good Luck.

Just let her know that you're there for her. Let her know her body is going through something perfectly normal. They are teasing her because she has to eventually embrace her new body and they know that she's uncomfortable with that. She is not the first and won't be the last to go through this- just keep talking to her and be there. Do your job. Tell her that she can even speak to the school counselor, they may have ways to help her cope. Good Luck!

explain to her that the other girls are just jealous of her and she should tell them off if she is like me she should curse them out if she isn't like that than she should just tell them to shut up and get a life. I'm 13 and no just what she's going through. I started develping late but really fast and I go to an all girls school and get teased all the time i just curse them out once your friend confronts them once they'll leave her alone. Good Luck.
