The mother usually does a good job of pushing them out. The babies are quite small compared to her body so it's usually pretty easy for her. If she seems to be struggling overmuch or you don't eventually see her deliver the afterbirth you might need to call a vet.

Normally guinepigs do not have any problems giving birth. You look at them one minute they are preggers the next there are some pups running around. If she does have a problem you can help pull them your self as she has a contraction. But if you don't know what you are doing and she is having problems you either need to take her to a vet or have her killed. It would be terrible to let her suffer until she dies.

how old is your Guinea pig some one told me yesterday if a Guinea pig does not have babies in the first 6 to 8 months of life there pelvis closes and they will need a Cesarean to get them out in theory your Guinea pig Will give birth on her own if she gets into trouble having them unless you are veterinary trained i would always ask the advice of a vet i would not recommend pulling out the babies sorry i cant give you any more advice

You have to check that the pigs have turned and are coming out front feet first, you may have to do this buy putting your hand in the pig to feel. you can help buy pulling a little.

You should call the vet before labor starts,to make sure there will be a vet who can help if you need it.The sow should do all the work, stay quiet and as 'invisible' as possible. When the piglets come out, make sure they are breathing and dry them off.

the pig should push them out. then you can get the after brith and everything off the pig. if you see she is having problems try and help her by pulling them out.
