When nobody pays attention to them when answering. Why do people give personal advice in the Music category when it is obviously a music quetion?

I think the biggest problem is that people don't read the whole question. If you want evidence of that look through some of my old questions.

To confuse things even more I have ran into people that take lyrics from songs that are questions, put it in the music category, but are not really looking for a reference to the song but an answer to the question in it. And then seem to actually be annoyed when you answer where the lyric/question came from, like you are giving away their source or something.

Sometimes I like to have fun that way myself, putting a question out there which is actually a song lyric, just to see what sort of wild answers I get before someone notices that it is in music and answers it correctly.

Often if it is really confusing I will state "This is a music question", but even that doesn't get read all the time.

Just don't let it get you down, because I have ran into some very intelligent people here who do read and I almost always have a fun time.
