You can buy a wii and xbox 360 for the price of the PS3.
Why should I buy a $600 PS3 which is basically the same thing as the ps2, just with better graphics. If you only care about graphics, then you arn't a true gamer.
Who cares about the name, Wii? If your not going to buy a great console just because of the name, then your really sad.
If you think the Wii's only going to have kiddy games, then your really ignorant. What about the games, Red Steel, Metroid Prime, Resident Evil and Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess?

I will DEFINATELY be getting a Wii. Its the only system [Nintendo] that has Legend of Zelda. Plus, at 600$ I would never be able to afford or get the PS3 for Christmas or a birthday. Also, PS3 has the exact same controller as the PS2, and the only difference is that its wireless.
The Wii has a hand controller like a nunchuck; it wireless too. That sure helps out all the older gamers who get handcramps from playing the XBox 360. Plus, there is sound and music from the Wii Remote, and you can download games Wireless off the internet from Nintendo64 and Gamecube and older! And there is also A Wii channel, where you can design your own character and use them in some future games, as well as Wii sports.

The PS2 is capable of better game play then pentuim 4 computers, and it only has a 300Mhz processor, not to mention the most clever and user friendly controller.
The PS3's 3.2 GHz Cell processor, developed jointly by Sony, Toshiba and IBM ("SIT"), is an implementation to dynamically assign physical processor cores to do different types of work independantly. It has a PowerPC-based "Power Processing Element" (PPE) and six accessible 3.2 GHz Synergistic Processing Elements (SPEs), a seventh runs in a special mode and is dedicated to OS security, and an eighth disabled to improve production yields. The PPE, SPE's and other elements ("units") are connected via an Element Interconnect Bus which serves to connect all of the units in a ring-style bus. The PPE has a 512KB level 2 cache and one VMX vector unit. Each of the SPEs is a RISC processor with 128 128-bit SIMD GPRs and superscalar functions. Each SPE contains 256KB of non-cached memory (local storage, "LS") that is shared by program code and work data. SPEs may access more data in the main memory using DMA. The floating point performance of the whole system (CPU + GPU) is reported to be 2.18 TFLOPS[38]. PlayStation 3's Cell CPU achieves 218 GFLOPS single precision float and is reported at around 26 GFLOPS double precision. The PS3 will ship with 256 MB of Rambus XDR DRAM, clocked at CPU die speed.
This is a freakin' supercomputer!
The only downside is the commercail marketing BS that force's this technology into the market place prematurely because of whining ******'s.

the Wii is a great console, lets us play in a whole different direction, but just like all Nintendo products, they always come up with childish games. Not all of them, some games are truly superb, but mostly childish.

You sir, need to look at the facts:
The PS3 doesn't just have "better graphics", it can play Blu-Ray discs that can store 100 GB's on them, use the PSP as a contoller, and much, much more.
So I say: PS3 all the way!

people think it will crush 360 because it's cheap and it has motion sensors. But i don't care about that i just care about good games!
