Either you're running firewall software like Zonealarm, McAfee Firewall, Norton Internet Security etc OR you've got a router (an actual piece of hardware that your computer is connected to) as part of your setup.

You may need to configure the router to allow specific traffic through, according to the instructions for your webcam.

the easiest way to get around a firewall is to either un install it from add remove programs under the control pannel if you don't want it..

or disable it temporarily under control pannel:security:firewall

It should be pretty self explanitory if you follow my directions to get to whichever firewall you are trying to uninstall/disable.

If you don't know how to get around a firewall, i strongly would suggest that you take some sort of computer classes. They wont nesaccarily teach you how to get around a firewall, but they will make you more computer literate.
