Abramoff was a criminal lobbyist who funnelled millions of dollars to mostly Republican congressman and apparently to this Republican White House also. In return they sponsored and passed laws that favored his special interest clients. He is now serving 6 years in jail.

Shirass's statement is just another Republican lie or distortion to deflect from tomorrow's news that Abramhoff spread his favors around the White House also..

The republicans received money directly from Abramoff. The democrats nothing. That's according to FEC records. some democrats received money from Abramoff's clients, which is something the democratic party has never denied. It's a non issue because those monies were not illegal. The monies directly from Abramoff were.

No it doesn't, I say put all the criminals in jail. You go people in jail with life sentences for having a bad drug habit, and a willingness to steal to support. So we should put the politicians that are robbing us in jail immediately.
