Is it somehow possible to set your desktop background to change to a different wallpaper everyday from a certain folder or maybe even website. If yes, could you please tell me how?

Yes. WEBSHOTS.... is a free software program that you download to your computer. There are settings for changing wallpaper, screensaver, and you can also download lots of photos too. I have enjoyed using the program for many years. Have fun. Elaine

yes that is very simple where you can change the wallpaper every day with even knowing you. see just do on thing you can download on software called web shot. this is where you can give the software a timing when the wallpaper get changed automatically

Yes. Right click the desktop, click Properties, Screensaver, scroll down the list to My pictures slide show. Click OK. After the set length of time for the screensaver to come on a slide show of your pictures found in My Documents, My pictures will begin.

yes you can if you have pictures in your computer save you can change your desktop wallpaper every day if you want to just click on save as back ground i am always doing it so i know it works

you'll probably be able to do that with windows vista, not xp. so buy vista
