Are you nursing yet or pregnant?
A good nursing bra should be purchased in the last trimester of pregnancy (or post-partum, if that's where you are!)
Good quality, stretchy, maternity bras that are not underwire tend to also double as nursing bras PROVIDED that they have latches (or velcro) to allow for easy nursing. These will always say "nursing:" or "maternity/nursing" bras.
However, there are nursing bras that do not have latches (called sleep bras) that are very comfy, and nursing/maternity bras that are very very high end that are underwire bras, too, and feel confy. The higher end the bras are (Pea in the Pod, Renfrew's, Harrod's, Robsinson-May, Kaufmans, Filenes, Macy's, Nordstom), the better you will feel while sleeping, nursing, and being a mum!
Sleep bras are easiest on the breasts at night and during the day.
Underwires can cut off milk production if you choose a cheap bra.
Good luck!

I tried a lot of nursing bras. they are so expensive. What I found was that I liked sport bras better, they offer support, and I never knew how large or small my breast were going to be, concidering my milk supply.

go to your local department store and try it on for size.....I would recommend getting those nursing pads to insert in the bra, even if your not nursing at the time...breast do leak and how embarrassing it is to have a wet shirt while out and about! good luck:)

Go get fitted for one, they really need to fit properly. You could probably go to any maternity wear clothing store in your area, an actual store that sells bras, sometimes lingerie stores have them. I dont recommend buying online, although you get a better deal money wise, you need to be fitted unless you are absolutely certain of your bra size. Be sure to get one that is full support as well. Your breasts will thank you :)

Go to a store where you can try them on and go for comfort first. The flaps shouldn't interfere with comfort. You will want one with good support. Your breasts will be heavier while nursing so you want good support. Any good supportive bra will do even if it doesn't have feeding flaps you can lower one strap to expose the breast.

I went the the Motherhood store in the mall and got fitted for one and went based off of what they said. I was very happy with what they were able to do for me and I will be going back with this pregnancy as well. They will measure you and also give room for growth once your milk lets down, they're kind of expensive, but so very worth it for the comfort measure.
