If you are referring to the trans-alaska pipeline built in the 1970's it is controlled by a company called Alyeska pipeline (http://www.alyeska-pipe.com).

They do hire from time to time. If you are an Alaska Native (especially with a college degree), that is a bonus as they have to hire a certain percentage of Alaska Natives due to the oil leases.

If you are referring to the Natural Gas pipeline, hiring for that is scarse right now as it hasn't been approved. I've seen jobs here and there related to that, but not many. I think most of those were directly with BP.
