I told my best friend that I liked a few months ago(this was in an email, she lives far away), and she just said "Really? For how long?" and just acted like it never happened. Why did she do that?

hon ur friend probably don't believe you she might think that you're joking or something.you need to ask her why and tell her you meant it.if she ignore you again then thats ur answer she just wants to be friends

she's probably trying to make sure she's not being pranked. it'd be very embarrassing finding out that some1 told you they liked you only because they're dared

she prolly wants to make sure that you are serious and not playin her!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i do that when one of my guy friends said that...just tell her yea!!! and ask her uf she feels the same way!!
