I read in a tabloid years ago, when Diana was still alive that one of her psychic's said she was the reincarnation of Cleopatra (Cleopatra VII) of Egypt. I have a weird feeling she was, has anyone heard this story before?

Yah, I have heard about it but here's an article that you may be interested to read.

Diana 'said she had lived before'

Christopher Morgan

The Sunday Times July 23, 2006

DIANA, Princess of Wales believed in reincarnation, according to a new book which assesses her religious beliefs and spiritual impact.

She discussed her beliefs with Peter Nott, the former Bishop of Norwich, at a dinner at Sandringham during which she told him she had “lived before”.

This weekend Nott confirmed the conversation, during which the princess explained how she coped with people dying. She told him: “I know this sounds crazy but I’ve lived before”, adding that she knew because she was “a wise old thing”.

The incident is discussed in Diana: Myth and Reality, by Ted Harrison, which also plays down persistent suggestions that she was thinking of converting to Roman Catholicism. Reincarnation is not part of Christian belief.

According to Harrison, Diana had taken an interest in alternative faiths from a young age, turning to her grandmother Cynthia, Countess Spencer as her spiritual mentor.

Diana claimed to have had premonitions, stating that she had realised at the moment the Prince of Wales proposed marriage that she would never be queen.

In her taped memoirs, prepared for Andrew Morton’s biography, she said: “A voice said to me inside, ‘You won’t be queen but you will have a tough role’.”

Harrison also gives details of the princess’s affinity with St Thérèse of Lisieux, who died in 1897, a century before Diana’s death.

Michael Burgess, the royal coroner, has resigned from the task of holding the inquest into Diana’s death, more than two years after asking Lord Stevens, the former Metropolitan police commissioner, to investigate.

COMMENTS (7/23/06): Well, there you have it. What I have been insisting all along: Diana believed she had been reincarnated many times. Obviously she did not recall most of her past lives, so it can be debated, I suppose, if she truly was Marilyn Monroe, Marie Antoinette, Cleopatra, or Nefertiti in a previous life. But now, at least, Diana's belief that she had been alive on earth before as other people has been confirmed.

Also, that she had an "affinity with St Thérèse of Lisieux" makes sence. Obviously she would not only have been reincarnated as an icon of feminine sexuality like Marilyn Monroe in the recent past, but also as a woman with a pure faith and love of God, charitable, saintly and naturally beautiful (as was the case of young St Thérèse who died of tuberculosis at the tender age of 24 in 1897).

It is this aspect of Princess Diana that made her qualified to be the woman of Revelation 12 sometime in 1998, and it will be this same spirit that has traveled throughout time since the dawn of civilisation that shall qualify her again in a near future incarnation in Egypt.

Apart from the fact that re-incarnation doesn't exist why would Cleopatra come back as Diana? I can't see any connection. Cleopatra was of noble birth, the last Pharaoh, Diana was a silly simpering girl who was chosen as a breeding machine. Anyone who uses psychics must be an idiot anyway and willing to believe any stupid idea that will increase their 'street cred'. Also why would Cleopatra's 'spirit' wait 2,000 years to reappear and then in a foreign country that Cleopatra had never heard of and then in the body of a woman whose only connection with royalty was that she was chosen because Charles other possibilities had all married others? Doesn't make sense, does it?

Ermmm no, first of all Diana princess of Wales would not reincarnate to Cleopatra for one reason, you cannot reincarnate into the past. Cleopatra would be reincarnated into Lady Di. And yes, it is possible as Miss Cleo was the most fascinating woman of her time.

Well- one would think that she would have "evolved" in this lifetime. Cleopatra died tragically after being bitten by an asp (snake). Diana died tragically in a car accident. Karmically speaking, what was learned from that past life that helped her in this one? So- no, I don't agree with that story. She probably was reincarnated from someone who suffered at the hands of royalty in the past and used her fame and leverage in this life to help the downtrodden...

Did they have a need for any sort of education, their success and downfall was because of their sex and the way they used it to get men.Did you ever see diana flash her eyes at reporters? it was quite something to see, i can imagine Cleopatra doing much the same thing to anthony and caesar.

if they are both cheap trollops who sleep around with foreign trash
then appear on TV to discredit their in-laws
all the time keeping themselves firmly in the headlines
then it is true
although perhaps not TV wasn't invented in the days of Cleopatra

That is a lie. First of all who believes tabloids? Second of all when one dies they either go to heaven or they go to hell. Their spirit doesn't become another person or animal. That is one of the most ridiculous beliefs I've heard before.
