I had 4 surgeries over the past year and every single time I lost my appetite and/or got sick from the anesthesia. I was able to eat a few things. Peanut butter milk shakes taste good and didn't make me sick. I made them at home in my blender with 2 tsp. of peanut butter, 4 scoops of ice cream, and a cup or more of milk. I also drank hot tea and ate a lot of toast with just jelly. Fresh fruit was good too.

Great natural appetite stimulants are strawberries, cherries and pork. Just don't eat them in the same meal.

Ginger will help stabilize your stomach.

All in moderation, some things could be contraindicated for your condition.

I recommend the diagnosis of a chinese doctor.

Depends on why the food makes you sick. If it is an allergy, then try a health food store and avoid pesticides, MSG, sugar and caffeine. If you are anorexic, then get therapy. If you have had a cold, try beef broth and plain toast.

Presume you`re at home ? you would have been told on release what you can eat & what for a few days you will be unable to, if you are having a problem keeping stuff down then, it`s time to seek more medical help, one wouldn`t recommend anything on here as, if you have had a serious operation you need the experts help, not ours.
