when the yankees fire joe torre (cuz they are stupid and think its his fault they lost when in reality they lost because brian cashman didnt do his job and get GOOD pitchers) who thinks the red sox should go after this guy and kick tito franCOMA to the curb.

just like the yankees took johnny damon from the sox last year, we will take joe torre from the yankees

who wants/thinks this will happen?

the way Theo Epstein is flaunting the money around, i think of it could be a threat interior the destiny, no longer each time quickly. inspite of the incontrovertible fact that, Torre is sixty seven and he's going to retire quickly in all probability. Plus Francona has a settlement until, i think of, 2010 and could in all probability get an extension for yet another 2 years. Plus i would not desire to work out Torre as a pink Sox supervisor. opportunities, for my area, whilst Francona is long gone, could be Joe Girardi! the greater desirable question for the pink Sox, how do they get rid of J.D. Drew and Eric Gagne? $seventy 5 million for what?

Interesting, but not sure he'd go. Torre has $7 million coming from the Yanks next year whether he works or not so he doesn't need the money. He may not want to jump from the frying pan into the fire but crazier things have happened. Look at Johnny Keane (for anyone out there who knows who he was).

Hell no!

We love our Tito Francona.

Terry has been more loved this year than any other year since he began managing the Red Sox because of how he kept his composure through a very difficult year for the Red Sox.

I dont think that any Sox fan wants Joe Torre on the Sox. I would take A-Rod from them though.

I think it won't happen - and I hope it doesn't - I know it's all a business but Joe Torre would be reamed for that in the big apple - which he doesn't deserve as a great guy and great manager

I wouldn't mind seeing a new manager in Boston, but there's no way Torre will go there.

I doubt that Torre would be "liked" in Boston.
