If you were seeing a girl that expected you to pay for everything? Would you lose interest, make her pay her way, or just stop bothering with her and not call her again? I already made my move, I stopped seeing this girl and never call her, she tried to take me for a ride, but I didn't let her. So now is your turn, what would you do? Same as you did. However some people just aren't socially aware enough to "get it". My g/f has a very bad habit of paying for anything. I do make more money than she does, but my expenses are higher too. I just don't suggest we go out very much. I don't believe she is taking me for a ride, we've been together for years, I think she's just cheap and was brought up differently than I was.

I often end up in "whoever asks, pays" type situations. If I ask her out to a movie, I pay. If she asks me out to dinner, she pays. If it becomes highly inequitable, then I'd either discuss it with her, if it's a relationship I wanted to continue, or just not see her again if I really wasn't interested.

I always paid for everything my girlfriends and now wife wanted. That's what a man is supposed to do! You sound like a cheapo!

Some girls are just like that... I guess i enjoy recieving gifts etc... there aint anything wrong with it....I dont know what to suggest.... do what feels good for you at this stage...
