At least twice a week for like the last oh....29 years of my life I have had the same recurring nightmare. My parents are dead, I am all alone in the world, strangers who would not let me visit have purchased their house and I can never, ever again go home. If that isn't a true nightmare then I don't know what is! So let's see. 29 years at least twice a week.
52 * 2 104.
So 104 * 29 = 3,016 times that I have definitely had this dream throughout the course of my life. I recently turned 32. This began when I was three years old and has not stopped. It's never a question as to whether I'm going to have a nightmare, it's when.

the worst dream i have ever had would be one when i was awake in my sleep. Do you know what i mean? When you are awake but you know you're sleeping? When your unable to move or make sounds and you cant open your eyes. And in that dream two demons that looked like wearwolfs from Harry Potter only brown with red eyes came into my home at night. They devoured my family before my eyes and one suddenly dropped dead. The other had knocked me to the ground and was about to slice me when i woke up screaming.
it was really scary. but luckily i never had that dream again so it cant mean anything.

The worst one I have had (the dreaming, in my sleep kind) was when I was ten I had a dream my family was showing our new neighbors our house, and the light in my sisters room wouldn't turn on. When we looked up there was a decapitated head in the light cover. I'm still afraid of finding decapitated heads everywhere, in the toilet, the newspaper things, in the kitchen sink, the refrigerator six years later.

My worst nightmare was dreaming about my ex chasing me in a parking garage to kill me.

when my kids where tiny I would dream about this huge dog mauling my daughter whilst I was at the bank and she was with my father...............it was so real I could smell the blood on waking up and the blood smears on her little dress [which was always the same one] where so vivid along with the tangled mess of her pram as I ran back to where she was from the bank with my son in my arms......................had this dream MANY times when she was small and the last time I had it she was about 8 years old but in the dream she was still only about 14 months old..............every time I have it I would have to go and check on her and make sure her face was not ravaged

Well, this is more weird than scarey. I have this reaccurring dream that I am driving and there is a red light and I can't stop. Sometimes there is a police car, but they don't stop me.

i've had a couple really terrifying dreams in my life (one in the past week actually). they are so horrifc that i cannot even speak about them. just recalling them stirs up the feelings of dread and nausea that i had upon waking.

sorry.
