Let me explain. Everyone knows that trust is crucial to a successfull relationship. Especially us women. Now, feminism is always telling women they need to be prepared, (especially financially) 'in case he leaves', or 'in case he cheats on you', etc...
They even give us lots of examples of how men have done so to women before, (as if we don't already know).

So, where's the trust? Aren't we convicting our men before they've commited a crime? Is it fair to assume our men are guilty because of what other men have done?

I know what you mean. I think feminism does cause women to have a negative view of men. I prefer equality. Recognising that we are strong in different areas and that there are good and bad in both sexes.

Feminism is just another teaching as if like the bible. During our whole life, we read and find new expeiments, books and different things on different subject.

Feminism is just a way of prepareing you for the "possibilities".

It doesn't mean you have to go out there and start accusing your man.
And no, it's not fair to assume your man is guilty. But aren't you the least bit prepared IF your man turns out like so many others?

I think you are mistaken on the definition of feminism.

The feminist movement was to work to give women opportunities they never had. Men and houswives can and are feminists. A feminist believes that women can achieve anything in life they choose to achieve.

Feminism is about equality, it has nothing to with the trust in a marriage.

I hate the word feminism. What is wrong with being self-reliant? Any man that does not respect and embrace that quality in a woman is not worth breathing the same air space.

Traditional roles have proven to be detrimental to women's survival, and no, self-reliance does NOT conclude lack of trust.

Women who were hurt shared their stories with us and realised the importance of being financial independence. I take the sharing of experience as something beneficial for our own. Emotional matters are uncontrollable and its just in case thingy so we have another reason to work hard on our finance. For me, I still trust my man because we love each other.

It's not a feminist concept to be prepared, it a humanist concept. But if you're with the right person, it won't be an issue.

No, it makes us smart. Trust for another who is as likely to fall as we are is going along blindly. Take care of you because you are the only one you can trust to take care of you. (sometimes that even fails)
