Creative Zen is cheaper, more durable and has better adio quality. Everyone has an iPod. The only good thing about iPods are they're made here, so they're more up-to-date. I'd say Creative Zen. Except that dont get the ZenVision:M instead of the new iPod Video. The new iPod Video is better and cheaper. The iPod Nanos can't beat the ZenV or ZenVplus. The new iPod shuffle is cool, but no screen is a real pain, I tell you. Real pain.
In gerneral, only iPod Video can beat Creative Zen.

The Creative Zen has more value than an iPod, at a better price.
However, the iPod has the advantage of being a very popular brand name.
If you're looking for funtionality, go for the Creative Zen.
If you're looking for flair, go for the iPod.

Creative all the way! Ipod has to have the proper software installed so you cant go to someone else PC and simply swap tunes for one thing, I have seen nothing but problems with Ipods on net forums, I never see a prob with ANY other player, I can take my creative player anywhere on anyones PC and swap files without downloading software! Someone stated popularity as the reason for Ipods success and this is absolutely true! Most people who buy them arent aware of their problems! An Ipod wont work on anything less than windows 2000, want me to go on?

iPod has strong holds but Zen is also coming with good features ..

i would get an IPOD. they are so much cooler. they work really well too. i have had mine for a year and i have never had a problem with it. it has games and if you get a IPOD video you can watch movies. tv shows and music vidoes on it . if you do get an ipod i would recomend you get a case of a screen protector (its just a clear piece of plastice like thing that keeps the screen from getting scratched. and you cant even see it. i have one and it works great.)
