Toshiba failed me miserably. I now have an HP Pavilion, and it has been wonderful. Happy hunting!

its not really a recommendation, its a tip.....they go on sale for really cheap as soon as christmas seasons start!!!
i've had the most luck with Toshiba

I think the best procesors and most durable are the AMD64. You could start with that.
