My friend has been on the Internet for a long time. A few months ago, he met this girl and now he's COMPLETELY changed! He's so addicted to her that he cries himself to sleep at night and phones me up to tell me that he's depressed. He hasn't went as far as to say he's going to kill himself, but I'm afraid he might soon. He's really starting to worry me.
He doesn't have many friends at all off the Internet besides me and James because he says that his friends online are better, besides us. What the heck can I do for him?! What do I say?

Well sounds like hes way to obsessed with this girl and the truth is you cant do nothing for him hes got to smarten up on his own...because if you try to talk to him about it he will probably get offensive.The part about killing his self is just for sympathy when people talk about killing thereselves they normally don't do it its just for attention...the ones who don't talk about it are the ones who normally do.So theres really nothing you can do but let him find out and deal with it on his own.

I don't know that you can do anything if he doesn't want to help himself. Just continue to be his friend. He will have to pull himself out of this funk himself though. I would try to encourage him to get some counseling though.

dude i dont know what the ***** wrong with him it doesnt sound like hes doing it for attention try to tlak to him and see whats going on cuz i havent heard of anybody being addicted to the interent well i dont know what you should do get hes password and user names for the sites he has other ''friends'' at and read what there talking abotu or somehting snoop or idk but yeah just try to find out whats going on friom him or snoop

you could sneak into his house and kill his computer jkjk ummmmm... show him how friends of the internet are better than friends on the internet. hopefully that will work!

Get professional help immediatelty, you should see them by yourself first before your friend knows about it as there may be no need for your friend to know about it.

hhmm...im really soory about ur frnd lee..and i appreciate ur concern...well coming to the point..this wat happens with many of the guys..who will start considering girls in their lifes and get addicted them nd girls make the guys like that...as guys are more serious than girls when comes to relationships...guys start thinking of his girl early..here are some points that ur frnd must know...
--this is not only his case..this happens with many of the folks
--nd just say to her wat ur feelings about her..
--give her some time..try ur best ..to get her..
--if things doesn't works out..just **** her..forget her..
--as everybod knows...time doesn't stops for anybody..and have
global picture..that u won't be like this after 5 or 10 years..

where..
--if she is urs decided by heavens she will be urs..no matter wat comes in ur way..
