Detroit suffered two very hurtful losses earlier with the Red Wings and Pistons, but we got the WNBA Championship this year (Go Shock!), and the Tigers are in position to bring that World Series trophy back home. Bless you boys!

BTW, I heard Torre was already let go, and A-Rod can't be far behind.

This is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo depressing!!!!!!! I can't believe the Yankees got beaten by the stupid, dumb, idiotic Tigers!!!!! Well, A-Rod just had a bad year and I think he will stay but, their have been rumors about Torre getting fired and Lou Pinella becoming their new manager! YUCK!!!!!!!!!! Why would they want Lou????? He's always in a bad mood and always putting stress on the players and other coaches on the team. It would be better to have Joe Girardi or Don Mattingly or someone better then Lou to manager the Yankees. I know that the Tigers are going to get beaten by the A's!!! So, even though the Yankees aren't going to the World Series--this should make Met fans happy--I'm now rooting for the Mets , and I'm rooting for the A's to beat the Tigers.

Torre and A-Rod, as well as the whole Yankees team, should take a very good and relaxing vacation. Caribbean resorts, Hawaii, Tahiti...just take a good rest and forget about baseball for 4 months. Next year, Yankees will be the best!

You can't buy a championship, folks, no matter how Steinbrenner may try. You can't buy heart. This current team is not clutch. They choke on the big moments. And not just A Rod...all of them. Torre doesn't take a at bat or throw any pitches. Face it ...they are choke artist. You all do remember how they had Boston down 3 games to none and in extra innings and could not get it done. Money can't buy clutch hitting.

A Rod should have gone to the Red Sox and this never would have happened to him. He isn't used to getting booed by those ****** yankee fans. I think they really bother them, and he really hates where he is and is afraid everytime he throws the ball or hits. Joe Torre is a good coach when he has a 200 million dollar payroll, cut that in half and then we will see how good he really is.

OR maybe torres should substitute for arod in the playoffs - he couldn't hit any worse. But no problem for the yankees - add another $50 million to the payroll and get some pitchers.

Best team money can't buy

I am really ticked off that the Yankees are out of the playoffs, I couldn't beleive it. I watched the 4th game and it was horrible. You know...........Im not sure about Joe Torre, he could stay, but im not sure. AROD on the other hand should stay on the Yankees and not get traded.Yeah I know that all of you think that im crazy and that AROD cant play worth a crap, but he can, I' ve seen him. Think about his 450th homer, he was the youngest player to reach 400 home runs in history,he is the only player to get the MVP award when he played shortstop and third base, and he has gotten the golden glove award.AROD should stay with the Yankees. He just had a bad season. You shouldn't give up on him just because he had a bad season. He can play, he really can. So everyone just needs to back off and leave him alone. He has a daughter, and oneday she is going to wonder why everyone did not like her dad. AROD is a good man on the field and off, he has good sportsmanship. AROD should not be traded!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I rest my case!!!!!!

Keep Torre... He took the Yanks to the PostSeason in all his years as Skipper and won 4 Championships, he can't be the blame if the pitchers can't throw strikes and if the batters swing at balls... All he can do is tell them what to do. Not how and when to react at the moment.
As for Fcukup-Rod...In 3 postseasons he has what 6 hits!!! Nuff said! Love the guy, great player, gold glove, mvp, all that great stuff all cool and all... But we need to WIN... Not just individual awards, but Championships TOO!!!!!!

I don`t even care who stays or who goes. The better team won the tigers wanted it more then the over paid Yankee's. Let them all stay then the tigers can beat them again next year. I say GO TIGERS

Feel their pain? What pain? Oh poor Yankees, they got a chance to play in the playoffs by over-spending on a bunch of prima donnas who wasted the opportunity. I don't feel bad for Yankees fans. All their bragging about collecting the 06 WS before they even started playing makes this result their just dessert
