Get someone to kiss it better and then put a plaster on it! And stop the DIY that's probably how you cracked it in the first place! Once the crack is mended only let experts mess with your pipe. It may cost a little more but any leaks will be planned and I am sure you will find the experience well worth it!

If you want a quick fix that will last use marine silicone, get it at boat stores it works like a charm. Its a pretty good price too it is meant to withstand water pressure. If they dont have marine silicone at the boat store take a plastic tube slice one side and fit it around the copper piping with the crack, next melt it slowly onto the pipe this should work. If your into more expensive stuff weld it, but make sure the temperature isnt too high just enough or it will melt the copper pipe and also make sure your using a metal that melts at lower heats definetaly not iron. Happy fixing! If you have any more questions email me!

If it is a copper pipe you need to turn off the water and repair the leaking section with new material. This could be done my you depending on your skill level, other wise seek the help of a plumber or someone you that is confidant in his abilities. Black drainage pipes can be repaired temporarily with some tape that can be bought from a hardware store. This is only a quick fix, to repair it properly do the same as for the copper repair.

If the pipe is cracked and if it can be isolated, then drill the end point of a crack and weld with suitable welding electrode ,depending upon the MOC of a pipe.
If welding apparatus is not available then you can use MecaTec express or any other combination of resin and hardener.
If it can not be isolated ,then you can sease the leakage by providing a suitable pipe clamp using soft packing between a crack and clamp body.
Even if it cant be isolated , then also you can cease the leak by sleeving, using a bigger size pipe and welding it covering cracked portion and with a threaded outlet.Threaded outlet can be plugged after welding.

You shouldn't be smoking crack anyway! Usually you can fix the crack with a blowtorch if you're careful, if not, buy a new one, unless of course you spent all of your money on crack and can't afford one!!! Replace the pipe, there is no fixing a cracked pipe! Just be sure to shut off the water first, otherwise all your crack will get soaked, rendering it useless.

I'm assuming your talking about a plumbing pipe.

The repair depends on whether it's supply side or drain side. It also depends on what kind of pipe it is (galvanized, PVC, copper, or cast iron, or even clay) There are too many variables to really answer your question effectively.
Post more info and I can tell you how to fix it.
