You answered your own question. They want him as a target. The only thing that would be better for them is if Foley had chosen to try to stay in office.

Democrats want the failure Hastert to resign, he knew about Foley over two years ago and did nothing.
We Democrats do have a plan it starts in November, Kick the bums out".

Well it was just reported on CNN that Hastert won't be around next week at this time,just have to wait and see if it's true or not.

Most Democrats want him to step down. They feel he shirked his duty and did not deal with Foley because he was concerned that it would become public and shed a bad light on the Republican party. It's the Repubs that want him to stay put.

No babe, they may have a hidden agenda for Hastert! Who knows, he may be the next victim like Mr.Folley!

Because unlike Foley, there is no proof that he done anything wrong.Just finger pointing from the Democrats in a sleeze attempt to get votes next month, which is going to back fire on us
