I can see it in my mind clear as day. Many years ago, when I was a freshman in high school I was put in a drama class. Being very shy, I did not like to get "up" in front of people. We were each assigned a solo scene from a play and had to go up on stage in the auditorium and perform it for the teacher and whole class. I was petrified of the assignment. I overcame my fears, worked hard, learned my lines perfectly and even had a couple props (desk, chair, pencil, blank piece of paper.) I don't remember the play. I was a sailor writing a letter home and my lines were what the letter said. I did it perfectly, was very proud of myself and hopeful that I would never have to do something like that again. I began walking back to my seat when suddenly I began to hear snickering, then whispers, and more snickering. I looked up to my teacher's face and was horrified to she her glaring at me. What had I done? Then everyone said I had cheated and written the whole thing down on the piece of paper, only reading the lines off the paper. I showed my teacher the blank paper and she was still mad, everyone saying I switched paper. I was very disappointed that no one believed me and thought I would do something like that. Gee, I was that good!!!! (pride back). LOL ..oh yeah, I got a C...deserved an A+
