i think it is hardwired neurologicaly for men to feel more empathy for women than vice versa.

For thousands of years it was benefial to the human species
Even today it is beneficial
however i beleve that evolutionary neurologicaly condtioned response needs to be modualted to a degree . Not removed all together mind you but a systems of checks and balances to prevent abuse from the inherently stronger abilty to empathize with females than males

I disagree that men are more able to feel empathy.

First, from my own experience, I have seen far more women who are capable of emphathizing than I have seen men of equal capability to emphathize.

Second, from the best of my understanding, the type of intelligence that is often said to be better developed in women is the verbal abilities/human understanding abilities. These are the abilities more likely to contribute to ability to emphathize; so I believe that any biological differences between "male" and "female" thinking would point to women's being better able to emphathize.
