For a serene simple and comfortable life I chose the farm. For a complicated, polluted, luxury and vices spree thats the city.

On a farm, your more in touch with reality.

Not the girls running around in 'fashionable' clothes, you go home at night and your walking under the heavens. Stars seems so close and you can feel people everywhere not taking any notice in where we really are at all.

Animals are you friends. Human friends would die for you.

But, you can take what you learn in the country to the city !

Country is better, too much concrete in the city.

Okay -- that's your assignment. What specific question(s) do you have about it? Do YOU think it's better to live "in a farm" than in the city? Why or why not? What are some of the differences? What are some of the similarities?

- Less back-ground noise/noise-poolution. In a city you will most often have the background noise of cars driving down the streets; other tenants speaking/shouting/arguing etc.

- Cleaner air, due to lack of heavy industries and traffic

- Usually a closer contact with animals (cows, sheep, horses, dogs etc) which is proven to de-stress people.

- Social networks. A city often tends to make one anonomys, where as in a rural community people tend to know each other more, and thus be more akin to assist one - without charging money (having your neighbour help you fix the water-tank etc)

- Cheaper. As there is fewer places to go (movie-theatres, cafes, malls), one will not be giving out as much money for these entertainments as one would in the city. Additionally, housing is usually cheaper than in the city.

- Advantage of growing one's own vegetables and fruits AND knowing what was used for fertilizing the ground.

- Increased level of freedom - one can play up the music real loud without annoying the neighbours, where as in the city one must consider one's surroundings 24/7

- Increased creativity (esp. for children) as there are no play-parks around, thus leaving the children to explore both the surroundings and imagination

- Higher level of independence and practicality as one is accustomed to taking care of and/or fixing things oneself

I highly depends on your skills and personality, but in general a farm offers a person more space and liberty, there are restrictions as to what you can do.Less stress, less pollution for shure and better food if you know how to grow vegetables.
