Not sure what you mean by a "non-valuable degree."

Absolutely all astronauts and cosmonauts have at least a Master's Degree in mathematics, science, or engineering. If that seems "non-valuable" to you, then perhaps you should consider some other career direction.

Most astronauts are pilots, and most received their pilot training in the military. All--absolutely all--military pilots have bachelors' degrees or higher before entering the armed services.

Actually, I believe most astronauts - the pilots at least - where in the airforce first. That might be the easiest way to go. But yes, education is important too.

It's impossible because you have to have to be educated at least a masters degree in anything because they can't spend that much money and take someone who doesn't have a lot of education.
