Love verses lust
In love everything is alive and beeming! Even the trees the grass the stone the cold brick walls, the sky the birds, the table, lamp shade, chair ...evrything that you can see!!! You listen to your lovers evry words, expression and gesture. You listen to everything and talk to the sky, the wind, the rain and all birds and animals!! There is no fear, anger, hate or even happyness or excitement in love. because love is purer than pure, it has no opposite. thats whay many people who claim to be in love are actaully not, becasue true, divine, love cant then turn into hate or revenge or anythng else e.g once they break up. its deeper than when you love your mum, or your children or anythign else. remember the LOVE we speak off has been around EXACTLY like it was millions of years ago. after al our innovations and achievment as speacies we cant better the feeling of true love.
LUST - it is not Love. everything in lust dies! even the most alive thing - the person with whom you are naked and interlocked with and can feel their breath, warm skin, heart beat racing- is a mere lifeless object. a piece of meat. Anger is in lust. when you order around or shout at or scream obscenity at each other - thats all anger and lust. its like a deasese -lust is never satisfied LOVE is always satisfied. lust- you want more and more. more beuatiful, more woman(men) at once or otherwise. you think it will be better -but it never is! so you try a bit of danger- more unprotected and submission, whips etc come into play!! even fantasy about raping or being raped coem into the mind- maybe that will feel better! Lust is an ilusion. Love is waking up!

Love is always wanting the best for another person, and considering what they would want in everything you do. Love is always putting that person's wishes first and sometimes having to compromise your own for their happiness.
The feeling of first falling in love is a kind of madness that is sometimes called limerence. It's wonderful. Enjoy it while it lasts though cos it won't stick around forever. The happiness and contentment that comes after that is the actual love part and is even better but in a less can't -eat-can't-sleep way.

It means never being alone again, it means finding a best friend for the rest of your life. but most of all it means never having to worry there is always someone who trusts you and will support you and believes in you.
Some may say that it means heartache and upset but if its real love then none of that matters

If you are asking about love for another person it is simple. It means you care more for the other persons welfare then you do your own. Their feelings and needs come before your own, ie you think of them before yourself. We all have a tendency to put ourselfs first in our considerations but when that changes that is true love.

It can mean different things to different people and there are different kinds of love too. You must be very young to have asked this question so give it time and you will eventually find the answer to your question all by yourself.

Love is when you can't seem to be away from each other, the person is always on your mind, you think about him or her, first thing in the morning and the last thing when you go to bed. It gives you a good feeling throughout your whole body. You want to constantly be around them and buy them things and always talking about them to everyone you know. You'll know you will feel it when it hits you.
