Someone is using your computer to surf porn sites, which is why you are getting the pop ups. The reason why you are getting them is because most of these porn sites install diallers, trackers and adware, most of which is designed to divert you to their sites. So you will need to install software to remove existing spyware and to prevent further spyware being loaded. Try SpyBot S&D Resident. This is free - just Google it for a download link. You might also want to try something more emphatic on pop up blocking, such as Norton Internet Security. I use SpyBot, SpywareBlaster, Norton Internet Security and Ad-Aware Pro AdWatch (the last 2 have to be paid for) and I have no problems with pop ups and any other spyware.

Hi,
The easiest way to do this would be to install a pop-up window blocker. A lot of browsers like Mozilla Firefox (www.mozilla.org) and Opera (www.opera.com) support this functionality out of the box.

Alternatively, if you wish to continue using internet explorer (I assume you're working on a Windows machine) you need to install a third party popup blocking application. I recommend the Yahoo toolbar for internet explorer.

Thanks
aditya

1) Use Firefox instead of IE or NetScrape and enable the pop-up stopper
2) STOP LOOKING AT PORN

You might start by paying some attention to where your kids are going on the internet?
