Love is a verb. A doing or action word. You can love without being loved in return. In a world where you get what you give, if you concentrate on loving the people around you then you will find that you receive love.
Being understood is over-rated anyway. What about the air of mystery? What about keeping something back? That's infinitely more interesting in a person.

first thing u don,t need to love anyone. it is something that happens by itself. now u must be thinking that it sounds like a line from some romantic movie but its true.
love always starts from 0 and then starts to grow and u never realise that when did it grow to this extent. u can only love a person with whom u r comfortable, relaxed , true, don't feel jealous, u don't minding cracking the worst jokes.
it can be a boy or girl not necessary they have to be your better half.
and when u fell this way it means that the onther person automatically fells the same for u.

Love yeah i really don't understand it at all, and i am 53. i think if i live to be 100, god forbidding, will i understand relationship, males, or love, what gets me the most is when someone tells you they love you, and then goes and does all these things that rip your heart out. that gets me. Also i give up on understanding people, the more you try to work somebody out, all understand them, the harder it seems to get... so if you ever find out let me know, good luck and god bless.

It has nothing to do with understanding, or common sence,,
Thats y some people fall in love , even if the person is a nasty person .
U can not choose who u love.
