Islamic fundamentalists would enjoy seeing western constitutional government crumble. Seeing our liberties, rights, forms of justice and government dismantled from within by President Bush and the Republican party must fill terrorists with pride and joy!
President Bush is failing to defend our cherished principles; abandoning habeas corpus, rights of privacy, human rights, liberty, justice, and constitutional checks and balances because he's afraid of terrorists! These must be DEFENDED in the face of terrorism to SPITE the terrorists; otherwise, the terrorists win.
Who will be courageous enough to stand-up for our legal principles in the face of terrorism? Obviously not the Republican party or President Bush. They are simply cowards in the face of terror doing the terrorists dirty work for them, destroying our liberties in order to "save" them. Terrorists are playing our President for the greatest fool in the history of western civilization, and it's working.

Wow...excellent answer turnout! Best answer is going be tough.
For those who still can't comprehend the question, I thought of an analogy:
President Bush is defending the U.S. like a President of a bank trying to protect the bank from robbers by burning all the cash. Sure, the robbers won't get any cash, but everyone loses their deposits anyway, so what's the point? You can't save the bank by destroying the bank.
President Bush is destroying our cherished legal, ethical and constitutional principles in the name of "saving" them. Bin Laden and other fanatics are now able to say, "See, they don't practice what they preach!"
The President should have had the courage and the conviction to face the terrorists and say, "We are not like you. We don't spy on our people, we don't torture our people, we don't kill innocent people without due process of law."
The President should have said, "We will defeat you and we will defeat you the American way!"
Otherwise, what's the point?

Thank you for this.. Often you can be made to feel like a lonely voice in the wilderness. This is the case and it is absolutely laughable that the so called Moral Majority have given carte blanche to a President that has been 'bought and paid for' by the Military Industrial Complex that need to sell their weapons and needed wars to achieve this.
The attack on personal freedoms is an issue that will only start hitting them in the face as they individually start getting affected.

If president Bush have been to have talks with Ahmadinejad, it may sign something of the Arab countries that Iran has some variety of international prestige and could legitimize rants approximately Islam taking over the international, a minimum of to different Muslim countries. it may additionally lend credibility to Ahmadinejad and supply him extra skill in Iran. at present, if he upsets the controlling Imam's, they are going to have him bumped off or basically kill him. Iran is a Theocracy! with out a doubt, the main suitable coverage with appreciate to Iran and the international is to take a wait and see attitude. One achievable earnings could be: The voters of Iran would get a case of the nerves and start up protesting. yet another, The controlling clerics would toss him out or, Israel could basically shelter the completed mess. by how, "questioning M" is incorrect! Ahmadinejad is a thug, liar and kidnapper. elevating him to the point of baby-kisser is illogical.

It is even worse than your observation correctly infers!
Bush is a draft dodger and deserter! He has no Military experience and he is surrounded by those with none as well! He surrounds himself with business and wall street millionaires!
He has made the world and this country UNSAFER by his blunder into Iraq and is now trying to put a new twist on his pack of lies! He is now claiming it isn't the terrorist (ie. We really aren't unsafer as we are involved in a civil war which was a new wrinkle let out by Condi Rice) it is the civil war and Condi admitted we have lost it and we need to do something BEFORE THE ELECTIONS!
My issue is that Bush is lying again to the American people when it is obvious, from a report released only 1 week ago, to play down the threat of terrorism! It isn't great that he is lying again, but that it gives people a sense of false security based on another lie! WE ARE UNSAFER!!!! And that is a crime!
Fool is not the word! Imbecile more adequately defines Bush! Maybe if he could just stay sober!

Great question, I've asked this one myself a few times.
The bigger question is, why is he such a coward period? The answer is simply this. Bush is a fall guy. He hasn't been in control of office since the day he began. Notice his cabinet? It's mostly ex-cabinet members from his dad's reign. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfield, VP Dick Cheney and last term Colin Powell. These are all his dad's cronies in office basically making all the calls and Bush is the idiot puppet answering them. Notice when he speaks publically, he cannot speak. He stutters, mumbles, loses his train of thought. That's because while speaking he doesn't have those people behind him telling him what to say or do. Just like the 2004 debates against John Kerry, notice how he took forever to answer every single question? The suspicion was he had a wire, someone was talking in his ear, which would make sense considering the bulge on his shoulder.
I figure when this evil reign is over in 2008 ? The dirt will finally rise and we all in America will find out all the sickening details of this wicked regime.

I fail to see the humor in your attempt to try to superimpose all
that is wrong with the Democrats on Our President. You want to
talk cowards, Just look at the Zoo the left worships, Kerry, Clinton
Kennedy,Murtha,Carter,Reid, the list goes on infinitely. The
President, has a steel backbone and will not bend in the Political
winds like your Hero Clinton. No matter how hard you on the left attack him ,he will do what is right to Defend our Country.
Its a shame you are too stupid to see Americans are not the
Enemy, you are right they are laughing at you .

Because he looks like a chimpanzee and chimpanzees do not like things that go bang?
Because there's so much going on that his little brain is getting confused??
Because he's not a man who can run a world by himself?
Because he's trying to please you, and that old woman, and that foreign looking person over there?
Because there's too many voters for him to pander to?
Because he's one of the greatest fools in the history of _American_ civilistion and you put him in power?
Because he's trying to run a country with next to no support - especially from you?
(Just a point, you never see them targetting Tonga or Manus or anything ... you guys have a big red target on your ars' around about the size and colour of a red arsed baboon... "attack" and "defend" are by far not the same thing. Plus, he's not really helping you defend yourselves... our guy is only ever seen running in a jogging suit, he's dumb, he's fat and he jogs in yellow .. his smart supporters are always lurking though. Plus, he never jokes about blowing people up, or finding hole-dwellers.. I don't like Bush, but hey, Bush has a lot going on, he's trying to run a country, cut him some slack. Maybe if y'all supported the person most of you voted for, he'd do a wee bit better?? Positive thinking!!)

Your statements do not conform to facts. They apply only to terrorists who are caught wanting to destroy our country. Where were you in 1941? Did you think we should have granted the Japs rights? What has happened to the spirit of this country not to want to do everything to win a war? Killing a few civilians is awful and in WWII we killed thousands at German cities with bombs.

Not a coward , just a puppet for BIG OIL
He was a coward during Vietnam when he ducked his National Air Guard duties do help his Alabama Governor buddy get reelected.
I find it amusing the the critics of Kerry and his medal gathering he done during Vietnam. A lot of these critics avoided Vietnam themselves in a legal fashion of course but still avoided it. At least Bush #1 was actually a REAL VET just like Kerry and just like JFK...............If you didn't serve then spare me your criticisms.
